Once the colony was established, the corridor opened with monthly trips.
The space ship provided tech supplies and food. It was also used for the colony staff to get to the Control Station , taking them back to Earth at the end of their missions.
The new convicted knew they were arriving to a different world they would never leave. Though the firsts trips were reserved to criminals whose death penalty had been changed to an exile sentence, soon the new arrivals' penalties had different degrees.
To be sentenced to the colony was a judge's option. And some courts began a crusade to make the old earth planet a shiny safe world, a place for those who respected the law and enjoy righteous lives.
