Last night I dreamt I went to the Van der Kerk mansion again (I)

Last night I dreamt I went to the Van der Kerk mansion again.

It was raining and was cold, and the place looked weird, but in my dream, i knew it was Rum's home.

A maid opened the door. 'Mrs. Van der Kerk will be here in a few', she whispered, 'you can wait at the tv room'.

I followed her, trying to explain I was looking for Rum, not for her 'adorable' mom, but she disappeared leaving me at the most spooky tv room ever, while whispering, 'I dont think Mrs. Van der Kerk is gonna approve your outfit, mizz'.

That was the moment I realized i was dreaming. And at that very moment i did my best to wake up, but I couldnt. I highly suspected it was not going to be a nice dream, but it wasnt so bad yet. Just wearing  only sexy underwear, when visiting my boyfriend's mom in a spooky house. Yeah, not too bad.
But after a while, things got worse. I heard whispers, and someone breathing close to me, and then steps outside. And I decided to call the maid and tell her, dream or not, I was leaving.

I discovered I was dressed again (great!) so it was the best moment to run. But then a door opened at the end of the room and a voice called me.

He talked low and I thought he was naming Rum, so I entered the room. There was a tall man there, who asked me to stand for a picture.
 'A picture?'


He explained Mrs Van der Kerk kept a folder for the sheriff's office  with  the pictures of the bad girlfriends, and I would be punished if I didnt allow him to take the pic.
(Well, knowing Angela, it sounds quite real, I will have to ask Rum about it :P)

He was so happy after taking the picture, he took me to the kitchen to give me a special cake. (I know, I know, run DD, run... But horror movies and nightmares are always like this).

The kitchen was worse than the tv room if possible...

And the phone began ringing. I had the feeling it was Rum, trying to contact me (remember, mobiles dont work at his home) and I told the kitchen's people I needed to answer that phone, but they didnt pay any attention to me. I would have to look for it.

Jules was very surprised to find Rum there.
'I thought you were not coming this weekend', he said.
'Well, plans changed at last minute'. 
'You should have told me, I would have left the house...'

Rum introduced his brother and Anna Maria to everybody. My friends were nice at them, but Anna Maria was not in the mood. She was  not very happy to see me and my friends there.

Jules is a very kind guy, and  the boys were drinking beer and laughing after few minutes.
I tried to make Anna Maria join our conversation, so I said the island was so beautiful and Umami and Ree agreed enthusiastically, and I asked Anna Maria  if she liked Somewhere. She looked at me like if I were retarded and said, 'oh, I see. You girls had never been in a place like this before, uh?'
Ops.

Before I could try to fix her rudeness, Ree said, 'Hey, Anna Maria? Why dont you move closer to the sea?'

Marlow passed his beer to Rum and before anybody reacted, he was carrying her with a 'heyyyy its kissing in the moonlight time, blondie!' And took her away to avoid the fight.

We were waiting for Rum and making plans for a beach weekend.

I was sure he would be happy to take our friends to  Somewhere,  the island, and I also knew they were going to love it.

The door bell rang and I thought he was back with the devilish doggie,  but when i opened the door, it was not him.

I offered her some coffee and Umami began setting the table. 

MOna asked my friends where they studied at the campus, and things seemed to relax a bit, but Ree suddenly cursed cause she had burned herself with the pan, and Umi and Marlow got up to help and ... it was a bit messy and we didnt even notice the door bell rang, till we heard MOna, laughing as flirty as its possible to laugh.

And here she came, appearing at the door with her best smile.

'DD, you may get angry at me, but I let this super cute boy in, and invited him to have breakfast with us. And what a lovely doggie he has! Whats its name?'

Rum looked at me, doing his best to not laugh outloud.

'Hi', I said, blowing him a kiss but trying to keep serious too, and MOna looked at me in surprise.

'I think she does', Rum winked at me, and we all laughed.

So we finally began having breakfast. Umami was silent and Ree was in war mood, while Marlow tried to not be unkind but not too friendly either. 

Rum  noticed it all, and kept himself busy feeding Sexy her stinky breakfast. Then he sat by my side and whispered from behind his coffee, 'so nice to meet Loulou-II'. 

Oh my, my my,  Im afraid he is right.

Getting ready for the final exams

Umi said she needed a break before the final exams, and Marlow agreed it would be fantastic to get lost all together for two or three days, where could we go?

I was afraid Ree and Marlow's relationship could have been affected by the 'pregnancy test day', but on the contrary, they seemed even closer and happier.
