Knock - knock

'Oh my', I whispered.

Last time I saw Rum, he was carrying a naked and drunk princess to her bedroom.

The damn mobiles didnt work in the house, and l was afraid he would come to tell me how the show had ended.

That was sweet from him, but I was terrified of being caught together in my room, I knew his mom would make the great drama about it.

After the girl told us that the party was turning into the wild side, I went to my room and changed my clothes. I didnt feel like jumping in the pool, but, just in case. I was not risking Ree's beautiful dress.
I wore my jeans and came back to the party.

But it was not so easy to find Rum in that huge place. I asked a maid and she told me she thought she had seen him going to the Service pavillion, taking the little path on the right of the back yard.
I thought he may have gone there with Dan007, and followed the path.

The place was nice, but seemed quite empty. Then I heard a male voice upstairs. Rum's. So I climbed the stairs.

Ops

 RACK pose

No. It was not Rum, (thank God) but a... busy couple. His body covered hers, but a sudden shine in the girl' s hand told me who they were. She was wearing THE RING... So, in the semidarkness I recognize them. Jules and Anna Maria.

POMPOSITY - Large Diamond Ring w/ Twinkle

I stepped back, but not quick enough, and I met Anna Maria's eyes looking at me over Jules' shoulder.
Ugh.
I disappeared as silently and fast as I could. I followed the path back to the pool and saw Rum wondering around, probably looking for me. He saw me and smiled, and I ran to hug him.
'Hey, love, whats up?'
'I am afraid I am in trouble', and I told him what i had seen.
'You are not in trouble, love, they will, if mom knows about this', he joked.
Suddenly, big shouts came  from the pool.
'Whats going on?'
'Dont know, lets check'.
Oh my. The princess  had taken off almost all her clothes and was laughing hysterically at the people who wanted to stop her.

Jules was there now too,  (his shirt was half open... and also his jeans), but Anna Maria turned to Rum.
'Do something!'

'Why me?', he said in low voice but everybody was watching, and it was too much drama.
'Go, c'mon', I whispered.
'Love,..'
'Its ok, go'.

He jumped and someone applauded. And I noticed something else.

She will be trouble

Rum called me from outside the kitchen. He was with Dan007, smoking a cigarette cause the butler had ended his turn.

I explained what had happened and I saw how Dan was looking at him. Rum was in trouble.

'This is ridiculous', my boyfriend rubbed his temples, giving him time to think. 'But if my mom knows about it, she will be a real pain'. Then he looked at me. I bet I looked at anxious as I felt.
'Love, Im sorry, I wish you werent in the middle of this mess.'
'I am ok, if you are ok', I said and he smiled and hugged me.
'I love you', I whispered, hoping Dan007 was a bit deaft. He rubbed his nose on mine.
' I love you, DD. You know that, right? '
I nodded . Damn princess, the boy was mine, why couldnt she stop acting like a spoiled kid?

As I had left Anna Maria taking care of the princess, Rum decided to wait and see. So we stayed with Dan007 for a while. He was a fun guy, and we had a very good time just talking nonsenses. When he left, we went to the kitchen for a drink, and then that girl appeared, laughing and saying she didnt want to end up in the water. She said people were jumping in the pool, some more dressed than other...

I am engaged!

Come Soon poses

I shouldnt have been afraid.
Rum didnt leave me alone. He kept me by his side no matter who asked for his attention. And oh my, he seemed so happy and so proud of having me there!
He introduced me to everybody and they all were so nice at me, the boys  agreed on how pretty I was, and the girls loved my dress and asked where I had bought it (in fact it was Ree's). I shoudnt have spent any time putting some blush on, i was naturally blushed all night long :)

I didnt have to worry about the princess. In fact, I absolutely forgot about her. We danced every dance, and laughed and enjoyed the party so much, I didnt even care when i caught Angela frowning at us a couple of times.

When Rum pushed me to the terrace, 'to see the views', I was also dying to go somewhere and kiss him, so thats why we missed the main event of the night.
Anna Maria appeared almost running and asked for everybody's attention.

'Look at me! OMG OMG look at me!'

Oh wow. Jules had given her a ring and asked her to marry him! Everybody was saying congratulations when we came back, cause Dan007 came to call us.

Yes, everybody looked sooo happy at the awesome news, all the girls running to see the stunning ring, the guys around Jules, who seemed extra super happy too...

I turned to Rum, who was at my side.

'Wow', I whispered, ' did you know it?'

'Yes, he told me he wanted to ask her, but i didnt know he was going to do it this eve'.

He was serious, but when i took his hand and asked if everything was ok, he smiled.

'Yes, love, no worries. Its just... my brother is so silly sometimes'.

'Why?'

' One, she is a witch', I couldnt help smiling and he nodded, 'not kidding, she is. And two, this was my mom's night, and she wont like not being the queen of the party anymore'.

'Oh, c'mon, its her son asking to marry a girl! She should be excited and touched'.

'Yeah. She should'.

And girls, he had been her son for twenty three years... so he knew what he was talking about.

(to be continued)

Then he said 'wow'
